Ghost Hunters of St. Louis, Transcendental Society - Lemp Mansion Investigations

Lemp Mansion

The most famous haunting in St. Louis would have to be the paranormal phenomenon at the Lemp Mansion. The mansion, built in the 1860s, has a lot of history behind it.

The Lemp family started their own beer brewing company. Generation after generation they kept the business running. With this, came wealth and all the problems associated with it. Many of the Lemp family members took their own lives within the walls of the Lemp mansion.

After the Lemp's demise, the mansion became a boarding house.  Today it is a bed and breakfast.  Many paranormal investigators and psychics have come from all over the world to visit the mansion and the spirits of the Lemp family.

For the full history of the Lemp's, visit the Lemp Mansion website and read Troy Taylor's article about the Lemp's.

  THE INVESTIGATIONS

The Lemp Mansion is under continuous investigation by the G.H.O.S.T.S. team, and by many other paranormal groups. Photos and videos of orbs have been captured. EVPs have also been recorded. Odd occurrences have included doors slamming, a man looking over the stall in the woman's bathroom, a woman seen in a mirror, footsteps, and hearing a dog panting.

Listen closely. The men you hear in the foreground are investigators. What do you hear in the background?
